Muddle – to bring disorder to, or to mess with –
Another word that comes immediately to mind
chaos – the result of putting these verbs in motion
When you are born in a country
known for its orderliness
and you know that deep down inside
you’d like to break
the mold and just stir up and muddle
emotions, situations, tasks without consequences.
But, of course, coming from Germany
I will not roll with that,
oh no! Just the thought of springing the mold abominable!
When things creep up to me
and muddle is the term that covers
that process
I just want to dig a nice deep hole
and bury myself in it
until tidiness and order have returned.
